Don is an illustrator, a graphic designer and an aspiring academic. He has been contributing art to the bear community since 2005. Don’s art features subjects that convey and celebrate not only the appeal of lustfulness and the masculine, but also of sexual charm and sensitivity. His major influences are Gengoroh Tagame, Jiraiya, Christophe Jannin and Bill Ward, among many others. He firmly believes in supporting and promoting awareness to Asian influenced art within mainstream gay culture. While he uses digital means to complete his pieces, he favours traditional media – using inks on paper – as it gives him a ‘closer feel’ and a level of authenticity to the illustration.
